Title: Cyanometallic framework-derived hierarchical Co3O4-NiO/graphene foamas high-performance binder-free electrodes for supercapacitors

The cyanometallic framework (CMF)-derived bimetallic oxide/graphene foam (GF) composites were synthesized by a solution immersion and subsequent annealing treatment. The resulting composites were utilized as binder-free electrodes for supercapacitors (Fig. 1). The remarkable electrochemical behaviors can be attributed to the synergetic interaction between the hierarchical Co3O4-NiO with high pseudocapacitance and the GF substrate with excellent conductivity. This present synthetic strategy can be extended to the design and construction of other CMF-derived bimetallic oxide/GF composites applied as self-standing electrode materials for energy devices. This work has been published in Chemical Engineering Journal, 2019, 369, 57-63.
